Welcome to the Hanukkah Activity Collection!
We’re delighted that you’ve chosen to join us for a musical and creative arts journey that will accompany you and your children throughout the eight days of Hanukkah.
This activity collection was carefully designed to give you inspiration, creative tools, and practical ideas for meaningful, hands-on experiences filled with light, music, and joy.
Each day includes rich and engaging content:
musical activities, science and exploration projects, art and craft ideas, movement and play games, songs, worksheets, and additional materials to enhance your Hanukkah celebrations with your children.

Hanukkah is one of the children’s favourite holidays — filled with light, the glow of the menorah, spinning dreidels, and delicious Sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts).
But beyond the celebrations, Hanukkah carries a meaningful story about courage, bravery, and overcoming challenges.
Throughout this program, we will guide the children to explore questions about the Hanukkah story, connect with their emotions, and reflect on the characters’ choices in age-appropriate ways.
We will enjoy musical activities that bring joy and rhythm into the holiday, discover how familiar holiday items work through simple, child-friendly science, and complete each day with a creative art project that “lights up” the experience.
Please note: It is important to present and teach every activity in a way that is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and well-suited to your specific age group.
